The Catch
You can indeed create a drain feature in your pool automation system, but there’s a little catch: this feature is available only if you have a sand filter installed and Henden Control. The solution? You need an extra pipe running from your pool equipment area to your sewer gully. If you’re building a new pool, we can easily set this up from the start, (visit Stylish Pools and Spas). For retrofitting existing pool automation systems, we can often make it work as long as we can find a suitable route.
How Does The Drain Feature Work?
To enable this functionality, you’ll need a pool automation system in place. Once installed, activating the overflow becomes as simple as pressing a button on your phone. The system will run for a selected period, drain the excess water, and then turn off automatically.
